If you are new to SQL and you are wondering what you should do, Andy Warren wrote an article back in 2007, called “The DBA Routine”. You can find the article here, check it out, it is an old article, but it will give you some ideas about what you should do as a SQL DBA. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact Andy. By the way Andy has recorded a lot of tutorial videos, you can find them here. For other tips or questions you can also contact me.
Tips for a new SQL DBA
I was born in Barranquilla, Colombia in 1975. When I was 17 I moved to Curacao where I lived 10 years and then move to The Hague, The Netherlands. I speak 4 languages (Dutch, English, Papiamento and Spanish). I'm a Systems Engineer graduated from The Hague University (http://www.thehagueuniversity.com/). I have been working in IT for over 15 years. Since November 2014 I started www.cenlinea.com a webportal were the focus is to make learning more fun. At Cenlinea we are currently promoting PLAYDIOM a new methodology to learn English. While currently working part-time time at Cenlinea, I am also working as Senior Princiapal Consultant at www.ccgroep.com which helps me to keep up to date with Microsoft SQL Server, which I consider to be one of my favorite things in life as it has changed my life in many ways. I hope you enjoy my blog and if you want to send a question, just drop me a mail at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com View all posts by isalom

sir want to attend the msit exam but i don’t know how to atted and give me some deatils of msit in sql
Could you please specify which exam are you planning to take? For Microsoft SQL Server there are two types of certification MCTS or MCITP. To see where can you take the exam or exams needed for the certification(MCITP requires two exams) you can check on http://www.prometric.com/Microsoft/default.htm.
If you have any other questions please let me know.
